Cause

Return temperature difference is too great

Difference between supply and return temperature too high:

(1) No flow:

Vent the central heating system to remove air

Check the water pressure

If present: check boiler type parameter setting

Check the flow (direction, pump, valves)

Check the proper functioning of the heating pump

Check heat exchanger for contamination

(2) Sensor not or poorly connected:

Check the proper functioning of the sensors

Check whether the sensor is properly mounted

(3) Defective sensor: replace sensor if necessary
